REFRACTORY STEEL CASTING »
In their chemical composition, refractory stainless steels are alloys with high carbon (0.4% to 1%), chromium and nickel content. They are highly resistant to high temperatures (up to 1,000ºC) and perform well in oxidising atmospheres including nitrogen, and also with low-oxygen gases. Their main characteristic is malleability, and they are very strong and easy to weld.
At our facilities, they are manufactured using induction furnaces and heat-treated to meet the requirements of the different International Standards.
