MARTENSITIC STAINLESS STEEL CASTING »
In their chemical composition, martensitic stainless steels have a high chromium content (12% to 18%) and low-medium carbon content (0.03% to 1%), and they are combined with nickel and molybdenum to enhance their properties. Their main characteristic is their great hardening capacity, and their strength and hardness can be regulated by chemical composition and tempering heat treatment. This heat treatment also improves strength and ductility.
At our facilities, they are manufactured using induction furnaces and heat-treated to meet the requirements of the different International Standards.
